This Town is Hopping

Whether you’re a blissed out bunny or a rockstar rabbit, and whether you’re hunting for carrots or carats along with your chocolate crème eggs this year, we’ve got our ears perked up and our tummies tuned in to the best Easter eats and treats in town. C’mon it’s time to get cracking…

The eats: Egg-stra special guests in town? Take them for Easter brunch with a front row harbour view at the all-new, stunning Spasso in TST.  Start with a sumptuous buffet of salads, seafood, veggies and antipasti, before tucking into a hearty main course from the menu, and finishing with a dessert buffet filled with Italian specialties, chocolate Easter eggs, bunnies, a chocolate fountain, macarons and more.  Kids will be entertained by egg painting, colouring and a live clown performance to keep them in fits of giggles all afternoon. The eats: Hot chicks looking for a little sunshine will love the alfresco Easter Sunday Brunch at The Grill at the Grand Hyatt. Little ones can have their faces painted and join a hotel-wide Easter Egg hunt, while you kick back poolside and indulge in salads, fresh seafood on ice, char-grilled meats and veggies galore, fresh juices and smoothies, and the Hyatt’s signature homemade desserts, cakes, ice cream and pastries. The eats: Ready for a little hare of the dog? Hop over to Blue Butcher where they’re offering a glass of prosecco for parents and chocolate eggs for the kids along with your meaty Easter feast. Think you already know the menu by heart? Think again. Dishes like Slow-cooked O’Connor Farm Black Angus Beef Cheek with Smoked Cheddar Potato Puree, Caramelized Pearl Onions and Green Beans have just been added to the menu and are ready to knock you on your cottontail. The eats: Roger Rabbits looking to live large should head straight to Souvla’s Big Fat Greek Easter Celebration. The smell of traditional Easter bread will be in the air as the chefs celebrate with an Easter version of their legendary buffet featuring salads, cheeses and breads followed by a selection of roasted delicacies from The Spit and sweet Greek desserts.
