Luckily, the next set of shows is right around the corner. . . so put one stiletto in front of the other and waltz on over to the Mandarin where all the excitement awaits. . .

The Talk
Last Spring’s talk-of-the-town Fashion T’s at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong—a fabulous programme of designer fashion shows held during teatime—are back and set to sweep us off our (4-inch cut-out bootie adorned) feet once again this Autumn. Every Thursday afternoon during the month of September, the Mandarin Oriental’s sumptuous Clipper Lounge will play host to captivating catwalk shows featuring the latest designer Autumn/Winter 2009 collections. Exclusively for these groundbreaking events, guests will have the chance to enjoy the Mandarin’s splendid afternoon tea sets along with special fashion inspired cakes from the Mandarin Cake Shop, created with all the lavish precision that this HK sweet treat institution is renowned for. Chocolate mousse is enveloped in an edible tape measure spun from pure chocolate, cheesecake is topped with red candy buttons and miniature handbag shaped chocolate cakes are adorned with beautiful candy pearls. But these sweets are just whetting the appetite for the most decadent treat of all. . . the chance to view the latest designer pieces from Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani and Escada in uniquely intimate catwalk shows unlike anything you’ve experienced before!
