Special Mandarin Oriental Dish: Fashion Month

The external flashes of the photographers, the uber-stylish audience abuzz with breathless excitement, the towering models pulsing down the runway in awe-inspiring designer creations. . . there’s nothing else in the world quite like fashion week. Or is there? While London, New York, Paris and Milan have just one-week of the latest fashions to whet their appetites for the coming seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is bringing us a whole month of designer catwalk shows and fashion filled fun!

The Scene
To help us all step into spring in the latest sensational styles, the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has created Fashion T’s, a fabulous programme of designer fashion shows, which will be uniquely held during tea time. Every Tuesday afternoon during the month of March, Mandarin Oriental’s elegant and luxurious Clipper Lounge will play host to distinctive groundbreaking catwalk shows featuring the latest designer Spring/Summer 2009 collections. Guests of the Fashion T’s will be able to indulge in full high tea decadence filled with towering treats including finger sandwiches, pastries, sweets and scones with the Mandarin’s legendary rose petal jam, while viewing a Paris-worthy designer catwalk show guaranteed to excite and inspire. Each exclusive Fashion T event will showcase a different fashion house. . . Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Shanghai Tang and Pucci, oh my!
