Rockin’ around the Press-mas tree, have a happy holiday…The halls have been decked, the mistletoe’s hung, now it’s time to rock around to the most festive and fabulous drinking and dining spots in town.  With glittering holiday party promotions and mouthwatering festive feasting menus, the Press Room Group’s restaurants are the perfect spots to let the Christmas spirit ring. O holy night, the stars are brightly shining…on Hong Kong’s hippest heritage restaurant, bar and rooftop garden, The Pawn.  The three-floor space with terraced windows overlooking the historic tramways will be fully decked out in traditional Christmas cheer this holiday season and is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday gathering with family or friends, with various areas of the restaurant, from cosy, wreath-adorned corners to private candle-lit verandahs available for private event bookings. From now until December 31st, The Pawn will be serving up special festive menus featuring heartwarming favourites like ‘Herb Roasted Bronze Turkey with Giblet Gravy and Winter Vegetables’, ‘Pan Roasted Wild Mushrooms with Winter Truffles and Artichokes’, and ‘Christmas Pudding with Brandy Butter and English Custard,’ starting from HK$420 per person, as well as a mouthwatering Christmas Day menu starting at HK$620 per person. As we get ready to move forward to into a new year, The Pawn will be preparing to take us back to an era of decadent partying, with Retro Rewind, their neon hot 80’s themed New Year’s Eve Bash. Break out your infamous moonwalk with a DJ spinning your favourite 80’s tunes in the Living Room or get groovy in the garden with a live band on the rooftop. The Retro Rewind package is HK$688 for all you can drink from 9pm to 21am and a midnight snack buffet. I’ll be home for Christmas, you can count on me…to bring home some of the city’s most delectable cheeses from Classified.
