Azure
No costume could be too dramatic for the Dead not Alive Halloween Party at Azure, co-hosted by Belvedere Vodka and online artist community alivenotdead.com. To set the mood, Azure will be transformed into a scary burnt-down underworld complete with zombies, deadly dolls and ghastly ghosts. Two signature potions will be poured, the Belvedere Alive and Belvedere Dead. . .you don’t have to ask which one is stronger! To keep in the artistic spirit of the evening, Belvedere has commissioned various performance groups to present thrilling Halloween acts including modern dance, comedy and even a horror film using clips from the new, cutting-edge Belvedere ad campaign. Make your way over to RED this Halloween for their Treats Over Tricks Bash. The scenic backdrop of the city’s skyline and the dark sky above you will make this a very atmospheric venue for a scary soiree. Creepy Cocktails will be served including the Blood Sucker and the Howling Wolf while wicked prices will be offered on bottled champagne. And with only HK$50 for standard drinks and selected shooters all night long, you may be a scary sight by the end of the night! No entrance fee. Voodoo you think you are?!! Ahhhaahaha. . .Time to show them who you are and how it’s done at Makumba’s Voodoo party this Halloween. Uptown Rockers will be spinning the tunes while you perform your frighteningly fabulous moves. Tickets are HK$150 on the door or HK$100 advance booking, both including one drink. Beijing Club
What’s scarier than being in a dark alley in Beijing? Halloween at Beijing Club! The entire 5th floor of the venue will be decked out in spooky Halloween grandeur and all costumed revelers with receive special treats. The tricks for the evening, however, will be coming from the legendary DJ Nipper whose funky house will have you unmasked and untamable in no time. M1NT
If a night at M1NT tends to bring out your devilish side, wait until this Friday when the entire club is transformed into the devil’s playground for a Halloween bash like no other. Stunning model turned DJ Ivy-V will spin sexy sounds to ensure that your journey to the depths will be red hot while Moet & Chandon will provide the bubbly to reveal your angelic effervescence. Angel? Devil? Shimmy your shoulders too much in any direction and who knows where the night will end up! Quantum of Solace 007
For those of you who are spooked out by Halloween and wouldn’t mind seeking a bit of warm and comforting solace in the form of Daniel Craig, it’s time to head over to IFC for the Charity Premiere of the latest 007 blockbuster, Quantum of Solace. Quintessentially has a few tickets left for the special first screening of this hotly anticipated new film, which they are offering to Dim Sum & Then Some readers on a first come, first served basis. Our favourite secret agent is back in action and won’t fail to impress you and keep you safe from all the ghouls and goblins out there.
