What good was sitting alone in your room on Thursday, March 21, when HK’s most fun and fab were out to hear the music play and dance the night away at Dim Sum & Then Some’s Cabaret Anniversary Party at KEE Club.
From vintage cabaret dancers to modern showgirls to sultry singers, the evening was a celebration of the joie de vivre spirit that runs through the website, and the city of HK itself. KEE’s bartenders kicked off the night’s theatrics by shaking up some Absolut “All That Jazz” Cocktails for guests to enjoy along with KEE’s decadent dim sum. Guests were entertained by a Cabaret themed photo booth by HK Photobox filled with feathers, boas, sequins and top hats before turning their attention to the stage for the night’s captivating performances.
As the last stiletto sashayed off the stage, glamorous Perrier-Jouët champagne and an indulgent VERO Chocolate cake was served in a sparkling celebration. Then the lights went down and the heat turned up on the dance floor to the rocking sounds of DJ Samir, resident DJ at Club Cubic Macau who came to HK especially for this event.
Lucky DSTS readers had the chance to win incredible prizes throughout the evening including a One Night Stay-cation in a Grand Room including Breakfast a L’Eclipse for 2, plus a Tiffin Afternoon Tea for 2 in Palm Court – AND – a Lunch or Dinner for 2 people at Main St. Deli, The Bostonian or T’ang Court from The Langham, Hong Kong. Next up was a One Night Stay in a Chuan Residence including Lunch for 2 at Two-Michelin star Cantonese Restaurant Ming Court – AND – an Element Group Treatment Room Package For 4 People at Chuan Spa from Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong.
For those looking to take the party out of town Conrad Macao, Cotai Central gave away a Luxurious VIP Stay including One Night in a Deluxe Suite for two, First class ferry tickets, Limousine transfers from the ferry, Breakfast and Afternoon Tea for 2 people. And The Luxe Nomad, Asia’s new luxury travel flash sale site, gave away a two night stay at the enchanting 5-Bedroom Villa Simona in Canggu, Bali for up to 10 guests.
To keep the glow of the party going into the night and beyond, each guest received a full size Sun Beam bronze highlighter from Benefit Cosmetics and a complimentary treatment at the Benefit Brow Bar. Guests also left knowing that a percentage of proceeds from the event were given to those in need in the local community. The evening’s official charity was Foodlink Foundation, which takes unused food from Hong Kong’s hotels and restaurants and delivers it to the hungry and homeless.
