DVFIf ever you needed to back up your life long argument that you refuse to throw out any item of clothing just in case it makes a fashion comeback well Diane von Furstenberg is your one-stop reference.  Not only did she bring the wrap dress back into style but she turned it into a multi-million dollar business and an iconic international must-have for any girl about town who values their style cred.  Celebrating this, The Pace Gallery in Beijing is presenting Diane von Furstenberg: Journey of a Dress, an exhibition of portraits of the designer, muse, collector and icon, Diane von Furstenberg, by some of the most highly acclaimed artists of the past four decades, along with a retrospective of DVF fashion spanning the last forty years. Portraits by artists ranging from Andy Warhol to major Chinese contemporary masters including Li Songsong and Yi Zhou will be featured and visitors will also have the opportunity to experience a taste of New York Fashion Week courtesy of Hewlett-Packard, which created an immersive 3D experience that simulates sitting front row at DVF’s Fall/Winter 2011 runway show.  Delve into your closet and bring out your favourite classic for a date with the ultimate wrap star.
