Spice Up Your LifeEver since you got back from summer holidays life just seems a little bit, how can we put it…vanilla. Well, mark your calendar and get your taste buds ready for a wild ride. The first ever 11-day Langham Food and Wine Festival is firing its burners and preparing to set foodie palates alight with its sizzling line-up from September 13 – 23, 2012. Nine international mega-chefs will join notable Langham culinary stars from around the region and award-winning wine producers for a series of gala lunches, dinners, tastings and master classes like this city’s never seen before.

Penfolds Wine Dinner, including a 2007 Penfolds Grange, hosted by Philippe Mouchel of PM 24 in Melbourne (Sept 13, Tickets: HK$1,888)

Pastry Delights Masterclass, led by much-adored French baker Gontran Cherrier (Sept 15 & 17, Tickets: HK$888)

Frescobaldi Gala Dinner, a 6-course feast created by two-Michelin starred Italian Chef Igor Macchia paired with Marchesi De Frescobaldi wines (Sept 18th, Tickets: HK$1,888)

Duck Crawl, led by “Duck Crawl” inventor Roy Moorfield, a 6-course mobile duck and wine tasting featuring old and new world Burgundies and Pinot Noirs (Sept 19th & 20th, Tickets: from HK$1200)

New Zealand Gala Dinner, a 6-course dinner featuring New Zealand’s freshest produce hosted by Benjamin Bayly from Auckland’s award-winning restaurant, The Grove, with Pasquale wines (Sept 22nd, Tickets: HK$1,288)
