MirrorThe Man is Chef Jeremy Biasiol, a veteran of various Michelin starred restaurants around the world including an 11-year stint at Alain Ducasse’s 3-star culinary gems Plaza Athenee in Paris and The Essex House in New York.

The Mirror is a recently opened French restaurant in Wanchai, with Chef Biasiol at the helm, whose name is being whispered among in-the-know foodies as one of the city’s most coveted new culinary hotspots. Conceived by 3 food-loving friends, restaurant designer David Sung, hotel owner Clifford Chan and the aforementioned Michelin chef extraordinaire, all of whom dreamt of making high-end French cuisine more accessible, The Mirror offers an unforgettable culinary experience in an intimate environment designed to feel like a friend’s luxuriously cosy apartment. Sink into a plush turquoise armchair alongside the whimsical utensil partition and be inspired by the scents, sights and sounds of the full open kitchen. Choose from the 5-course Signature Menu or the 6-course Degustation menu, both of which feature mouthwatering French fare that is delicate yet sublimely rich in flavour. Starters like lightly roasted escargot with parsley sauce and green asparagus and vegetable tartine with eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, ricotta and basil lead the way for hearty mains like slow cooked beef cheek with roasted carrots in a port wine sauce and tiger prawns with crushed potatoes, AOC olive oil and tarragon mustard black truffle sauce, while desserts like poached pear in winter wine with pear ice cream and crepes suzette with chocolate mouse, extra virgin olive oil and blood oranges ensure the meal ends on a high note.

I’m Starting With The Man In The Mirror…but if you ask me, he doesn’t have to change a thing!
