Eat & Repeat

Sometimes the best trick in the book is no trick at all… The creators of Fish & Meat, Hong Kong’s freshest farm to table style dining restaurant, seem to agree. Keeping things honest and simple the duo behind Fish & Meat, culinary director, Malcolm Wood of Blue Butcher and Brickhouse fame, and HK-born, UK-trained head chef, Russell Doctrove, deliver beautiful, ingredient focused, mouthwatering food.

Start with a few creative cocktails on the terrace before moving into the modern Scandinavian style farmhouse-inspired dining room where you’ll sink your teeth into small plates of juicy Bone Marrow Crostini, crispy and lemony Whitebait, fresh rich homemade pastas like Soft Duck Egg Raviolo with ricotta cream, burnt sage butter and pecorino, and expertly prepared veggies like a Sweet Corn Polenta that will have you licking the bowl clean.

Larger plates like the Peter’s Farm Dutch Veal Chop ‘Milanese’, with parsley panko, vine tomatoes and chopped arugula or the Whole Roasted Italian Sea Bass, with fennel and romesco sauce are perfect for two or three people to share (if you’re willing!). Wash it all down with refreshing and innovative cocktails like “Farmhouse Jam” made with Ice Fox vodka, homemade thyme infused blueberry jam and dry prosecco and the spicy yet cooling “Pepperocini” made with Ice Fox vodka, Lillet blanc, jalapeño and cucumber.

New on the scene and already talk of the town is Fish & Meat’s Sunday Brunch. Slip on your shades and tuck into an unlimited starter buffet, followed by your choice of main course including dishes like Cinnamon Polenta Pancakes with crispy bacon, and Brioche with wild mushroom ragout, poached egg, and truffle fontina, ending with a decadent desserts like Sicilian Lemon Tart or a Hot Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake (3-courses, HK$390). Take this little afternoon rendezvous to the next level with free-flow of Nino Franco Prosecco (add HK$220), Bellinis (add HK$250), or Farmhouse Jam cocktails (add HK$260, or try the refreshing non-alcoholic Thyme and Blueberry Lemonade (add HK$150).
