The Witching Hours

A normal night out in this city could lead you to encounter some pretty scary stuff. . . ghosts of lovers past, ruthless door witches, countless skeletons trying to make their way out of the closet, your seemingly levelheaded boss skulking around in dark corners, and frighteningly undecipherable meat products piled high and sizzling with pungent scents (and that's just during happy hour!). This weekend is Halloween, which means the perils of Hong Kong by night will reach an all new level of alarming. From resurrections of the most bone chilling horror films to hospitals gone mental to devilishly devious dens of delight, the witching hours are calling. . .

"Dead Not Alive" at Zuma
Dim Sum and Then Some Want to see some of HK's biggest stars do their thing in costume this Halloween? Head to Zuma on Saturday night for an all out cool and spooky experience where costumes will be compulsory and the more garish you look the better. DJs Kid Fresh, Nat King Soul and Re:Flex are among the performers set to bring the house down at this grand and ghoulish gathering. (11pm onwards, HK$200/ person reservations@zumarestaurant.com.hk)

Nightmare on M1NT Street
Park your broomstick on Hollywood Road and let your wiry wind-swept hair loose for Nightmare on M1NT Street this Saturday. Sizzling dancers and DJs will send tremors through those creaking floors and who knows, with the party brimming till the early hours and cocktails and potions at every turn, you may even catch some witches out after sunrise! Rehab at FINDS
Feel safe this Halloween in the caring hands of doctors and nurses at FINDS.
